She was predeceased by: her former husband Robert Knox, Sr.; her husband Gary Smith; her parents, Harrison Potter and Ina Mae Potter; her sons, Robert Knox, Jr. and Ronald Knox; and her siblings, James Potter and Juanita Daugherty.
She is survived by: her daughter Kellie Shetter (Johnny); her siblings, Henry Potter (Cathleen) and Betty Kile (Doc); and her grandchildren, Joshua Knox, Jessica Ownby and Meredith Haynes (Andrew). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
