We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2021, at the age of 59, Richard Friant (Chattanooga, Tennessee) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Friant to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father John G. Friant Sr.. He is survived by: his former wife Becky; his daughters, Hannah Grace (Henry), Megan Carter and MaryBrooks; his mother Jeanie; and his brothers, Robert and John Jr. (Rhonda). He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, lifelong friends, and his first granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Community Kitchen and Chattanooga Rescue Mission.

“The years we spent working for the IPC&L Co. Printing business I have to say you were always kind and quiet and always doing your job. You somehow took over my office and I had to move to the bindery floor in the dust while you had your friend and copilot each day talked you work give you my window office on 1st floor. You and Mike screwed me big time on that Valentines day. You men were like ticks on a dog, stuck together in pushing me around in the hell holes you two didnt want to work in. I made it even Mike Griffin shit on me and he thought he was so slick about it that I wouldnt notice. He was so far up Karls ass and one big reason the Co. failed and had to close. Mike was a History teacher given the role of Treasury. He ran the Card n Label in the ground and spent Karls money inefficiently. Putting closed sign on front door.”
