It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Anthony Strauss Jr. (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 3, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Strauss and Clare Abplanalp Strauss; and his brother James Strauss (Mary Ann Farmer). He is survived by: his wife Toni Strauss; his children, Richard A. Strauss III (Kandi King) and Elizabeth Strauss Thibo (Jeff Miller); his stepchildren, John Lynch (Jennifer) and Teresa Lynch (Jerry); his siblings, John Strauss (Martha), Clare Hetzler (Peter), Deborah O'Dwyer (Ronny) and Gerry Strauss (Danny Aldridge); and also Sherman. He is also survived by three grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and friends.
