Rebecca Hutcheson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Hutcheson of Chattanooga, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 12, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rebecca may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rebecca touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Tensley Jenkins and Pauline Ogle Jenkins; and her brothers, Thomas Jenkins and Harvey Jenkins. She is survived by: her daughter Marissa Hutcheson; her sisters, Lee Etta Jenkins, Paulette Sims and Jarita Norman (Tony); and her nephew Cody Sims. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery (1561 Mountain View Rd, Benton, TN 37307).
