He was predeceased by: his daughter Judy Collins; his parents, Lonnie O'Mary and Pearl O'Mary; and his siblings, Virginia Taggart, Henry O'Mary and Charlie O'Mary.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue O'Mary; his sons, Chuck O'Mary (Ann) and Randy O'Mary (Susan); his son-in-law Mike Collins; his grandchildren, Chris O'Mary (Tracy), Elizabeth Bowden (Chuck), Jonathan O'Mary (Megan) and Daniel O'Mary (Kelsey); his siblings, James O'Mary and Ollie Wilson; and his caregiver Jessica Benson. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
