He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie E. "Ed" Herrin, Sr. and Rita Hagin Herrin; and his brother Leslie E. Herrin, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gene Herrin of Hickory Bluff; his son Dan Herrin (Karen) of St. Augustine, FL; his grandchildren, Joseph Herrin and Rebecca Herrin; his sister-in-law Betty Herrin of Brunswick; his niece Cynthia Moore (Don) of Ocala, FL; and his nephews, Dr. David Herrin of Austin, TX, Michael Herrin of Brunswick and Mark Herrin (Jean) of Denver, CO.
