It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Hickerson (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Linden, Tennessee, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hickerson and Nannie Hickerson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hickerson; his children, Danny Hickerson (Tracy) and Donna McCarty (Bill); his granddaughters, Amanda Morris (Joey) and Chelsea Hickerson; his great grandchild Josie Morris; and his siblings, Dorothy Groom of Linden, TN, J. B. Hickerson (Phyllis) of Wichata, Dan Hickerson of Wichita and W. H. Hickerson (Diane) of Collierville, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
