She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Simmons and Hazel Simmons; and her sisters, Faye Johnson and Fern Slater. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Steave; her son David Steave (Lori); her granddaughter Caitlin Steave; and her sister Dorothy "Dot" Broome.
