She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Downs and Eloise Downs; and her brother Richard Downs. She is survived by: her sister Jenifer Haggard (Neill); her nieces, Lara Pate and Mahala Pate; her son Shadrick Guinn (Melissa); and her grandchildren, Jacob Guinn and Emily Kate Guinn.
