He is survived by: his wife Carol Gulas Caldwell; his daughters, Nicole Caldwell Shields (Mike) and Stephanie Caldwell (Emily); his sister Maria Caldwell Lubkowitz; and his grandsons, Christopher, James and John Shields. He is also survived by uncle to his seven nieces and two nephews, and all of his great nieces and great nephews.
