With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Lynn Steele (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on January 14, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Condra and Leonard Austin Ayers; her husband Jerry E. Steele; her sisters, Judy Ayers Duncan, Donna Ayers Ray and Carol Ayers Lewis; and her granddaughter Sarah Ashley Voss.
She is survived by: her children, Lauren Steele Voss, Susan Steele Warren and Len Steele; and her siblings, William Roger Ayers and Nancy Ayers Frazier. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
