He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul "Dutch" Swenson and Mildred Michael Swenson; and his former wife Jeanette Brown Swenson. He is survived by: his children, Nora Cruikshank Swenson, Bret Swenson (Cheryl) of Chattanooga and Karen Tallon (Webb) of Chattanooga; and his granddaughter Caroline Swenson of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
