He was predeceased by: his parents, Leumos Stancil and Ethel Harris Stancil; his siblings, James Stancil, Harold Stancil, Maxine Wood and Billie Jean Rowles; and his wife Winifred.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Stancil, II and Debra S. Brooks (Allen M.); his grandchildren, Dawn Bailey, Christy Smith, Tiffany Goldsmith, Julie Campbell and Paul Stancil, III; and his grandson-in-law John W. Smith. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and, yes, five great-great-grandchildren.
