He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Paul Carmichael and Minnie Carmichael of St. Augustine, FL.. He is survived by: his wife Tammie McDaniel Carmichael; his children, Alicia Carmichael of Roswell, GA., Katie Zeigler (Brent) of Milton, GA., Andrew Carmichael (Cheltsey) of Brookhaven, GA. and Jacob Brazier (Ashley) of Chattanooga, TN.; his siblings, MaryAnn Blount and David Carmichael (Melanie) of Crossville, TN.; and his grandchildren, Ava, Hudson Zeigler, Ian Carmichael, Dylan, Bryce and Nolan Brazier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made in memory of Doug Carmichael to Silverdale Baptist Church- Apison Campus.
