It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Wayne Carney (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Patrick leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Carney; his stepson Trey Holland; and his brother Richard Carney. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Carney and Shannon Sharp (Jerry); his sisters, Joyce Huggins (Charlie) and Gail Massengale (Tom); and his grandson Jacob Sharp.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lane Funeral Home (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chattanooga Memorial Park (501 Memorial Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37415).
