She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Mae Sand and Henry Sand, Sr.; her brothers, Freddy Mathis, Henry Sand, Jr. (Ann) and Johnny Sand; and her daughter Fonetta Sand.
She is survived by: her close friend Wayne Emilier, Sr.; her children, Barbara Bradford, Amelda Nance (Morris), Sharon Sand (Reginald), Karen, Kevin and Allen Sand (Rose); her siblings, Harvey Mathis and Susan Davis (Johnathan); and her grandchildren, Corey Sanders, April Thomas (Tanisha), Monica Common, Canary Leverett, Jessica Boyd, Donald Boyd Jr., Latisha Robinson, Latasha Wendt (Chris), Little Jim Robinson (Inna), Travis Garth, Nikolas Milton, Allen Sand Jr., Alesha High, Aaron Sand, Courtney Bins and Lashea Shaw. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
