He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blackwell and Hazel Blackwell; and his siblings, Nedra Baron, Myrna Moore, Joann Noel and Don Blackwell.
He is survived by: his spouses, Cecilia Gay Cobb of Long Beach and Wendy of Universal City; his children, David Blackwell (Susan) of Chattanooga, Suzan Williams (Dan) of Cripple Creek, Michael Blackwell of Canyon Lake and Scott Blackwell (Nicole) of Frisco; his grandchildren, Thomas Blackwell (Kristen) of Reno, NV, Elizabeth Blackwell of Chicago, Patrick Blackwell (Ashley) of Chattanooga, Jenny Geracitano (John) of Fort Drum, Cody Williams of Boulder Colorado and Hunter Blackwell of Frisco; his brother Floyd Blackwell (Beth) of Cornelius; his sister-in-law Barbara Blackwell; and also La Verne. He is also survived by husband, father, and grandfather.
