He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Jacks and Annie Jacks; his son Donald Jacks; and his siblings, Leroy Jacks, Leroy Dowdy, Russell Jacks, Nathaniel Jacks and Hallie Mae Flanagan.
He is survived by: his wife Norriee V. Jacks; his children, Pastor Randy Jacks (Deborah) of Chattanooga, Cynthia Hudgins (Kalvin) of Douglasville, Elder Eddie D. Jacks (Cliftina) of Chattanooga and Tarashenda Harris of Chattanooga; and his siblings, Shirley Edwards of Athens Georgia, Betty Kenny (Stanley) of Statham Georgia, Lunette Hillman (Lonnie) of Lawrenceville, Hugh Jacks (Joanne) of Chattanooga, Hayward Jacks (Julie) of Monroe Georgia, Lewis Dowdy (Mamie) of Athens Georgia and Al Jacks of Monroe. He is also survived by sister-in laws, two God children, and five adopted children, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
