He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James "Snowball" and Louise Power; his wife Teresa; his son Damien; his daughter-in-law Mandy; his pet Buttons; his uncles, Gary Lovin of Hamlet, NC and Franklin Lovin of Pensacola, FL; and his nieces, Wendy Roderick of Castle Hayne, NC and Jamie Gerald of Hamlet, N. C..

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Zane's memory.
