With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Garrett Hitt (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on August 24, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Willard Hitt; her parents, Rev. Miles Dewey Garrett and Maude Viola Cox Garrett; and her siblings, Evelyn Williams, Alyce Lawrence, Miles Garrett, Don Garrett, Mary Jo Gasior and Betty Scoggins.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Eugene Hitt and Patricia Rose Hitt Craft; her granddaughters, Jennifer Kay Hitt Melby (Kenneth Melby), Ellen Marie Hitt and Sarah Elizabeth Craft Smith (Kurt Smith); and her great grandchildren, Grant Emerson Melby, Elizabeth Ada Melby, Lula June Smith and Maisy Rose Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
