We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Nina Gilchrist of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Philippi, West Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Edward and Margie Oleta Keiffer. She is survived by: her husband Keith Brantley Gilchrist; her sons, Samuel and Trevor; and her sisters, Dianne Winter, Mary Arnett and Nancy Stewart.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Kari's Heart Foundation, an organization that helps families of hospitalized children.

“Nina Gilcrest was the kindest, sweetest, and laughable soul I have known on this earth. I came to know Nina by what I didn't know....and that is crocheting. Several women would meet and work on a project by crochet & Nina was like the Master of Crocheting. I had no crocheting skills so i became the ETC member of the group and i worked on what ever project i had in my bag at the time. Nina , I hope my girl has found you and given you a big hug in heaven! Praying for your family!”
