He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Kalanzis and Stavra Kalanzis; his wife Angela Kalanzis; his siblings, Frossie Sloan and Louise Fox; his close friend Chester Sloan (Lawrence Fox); and his niece Connie Lee.
He is survived by: his son Peter (Nina); his granddaughter Melinda; his son Gus; and his nieces and nephews, Edie, George Sloan, Ronald Lee, Stephanie, Eric Richter and Lydia Fox. He is also survived by 5 grand-nieces.
