She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Gurley and Hattie Gurley; her daughter Kathleen Holloway; and her husband William Ransom Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Norris Sherman Brown of Chattanooga, Druehelen Casteel (Edward) of Chattanooga, Patricia Schreane (Clarence) of Chattanooga, Carolyn Edmondson of Chattanooga, William Ransom Jr. of Chattanooga, Sandra Charles (Emerson) of Chattanooga and Larry Ransom (Sandra) of Chattanooga; her brother William Gurley (Belvia) of Cleveland, OH.; her niece Kathyn Byers; and her friend Willie Pearl Deramus. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren.
