She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Long and Vivian Long; and her sister Vinita Ann Long. She is survived by: her sister Marlene Hughes; her niece Kaye Watson (Jim); and her nephew Ed Hughes (Valorie). She is also survived by several great nieces, and great-great nieces and nephews.
