It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrya Jean Garner (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Fackler, Alabama, who passed away on December 18, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse James Leonard Garner; her parent Myron Roach; and her sibling Starkey Roach. She is survived by: her daughter Jamie Garner Koonce (Neil) of Knoxville, TN; her grandsons, Andrew Garner Koonce (Lexi) of Dallas, TX and William Ross Koonce of Hyde Park, NY.; her parent Fannie Roach of Fackler, AL.; and her siblings, Frances Worley, Evelyn Roach of Scottsboro, AL, W. C. Roach of Stevenson, AL and Roy Roach of Mobile, AL.
