He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ezell and Eleanor Ezell; his sister Janet; his stepbrothers, Chuck and Matt Eddins; and his mother-in-law Anna Sinders.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ezell; his son Logan (Mia); his grandchildren, Elijah, Carly and Marianna Ezell of Dayton; his stepmother Maxine Ezell of Spanish Fort; his father-in-law Estel Sinders of Clay City; his stepbrother Barry (Jessica) of Spanish Fort; and his sisters-in-law, Sandi Eddins of Theodore and Diana Sinders of Pendleton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
