He was predeceased by: his mother Brenda Brooks; his daughter Tiffany DeFriese; and his sister Cathy Witt O'Neal. He is survived by: his wife Christine DeFriese; his father Bob DeFriese; his siblings, Missy Smith (Ron Pritchard), David Witt and Terry Keef (Clay Keef); his children, Angel DeFriese, Kristina Armstrong, April DeFriese, Hunter DeFriese, Keaton, Keli-Ann and Pyper Meeks; his stepchildren, Josh Castleberry (Jaki Castleberry) and Courtney Castleberry; his nephew Christopher Smith; and his siblings, Shannon Hampton and Alice Wilhoit. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
