With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merriam Elizabeth Davis (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on June 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Thelma Jewel Canipe; her husband Bill Davis; her brothers, Lamar Arrington and Billy Joe Arrington; her nephew Joe Arrington; her sister Betty Ann Higginbotham; and her grandson Matthew Thurmond.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Davis of Chattanooga, Dawn Buck (David) of Jackson, MS and Lonnie Davis (Dee Dee) of Chattanooga; her grandchildren, Ben Buck, Blake Buck (Katie Cornett) and Jon Thurmond (Erin); her great grandchildren, Noah, Owen and Leo; her nieces, Judy Quigg and Dawn Emery; and her nephew Jeff Arrington.
