It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melody McCurry (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on July 30, 2018, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Evelyn Chandler Woodard, Herman Woodard (Nina) and Barney McCurry. She is survived by: her parents, Barney McCurry and Pam McCurry; her daughter Emily Patrick; her sister Brandee McCurry; her grandparent Horace Long (Betty); her uncles, Billy Jo McCurry, Jerry Woodard (Susan), Mike Woodard (Sally), Tammy Staggs (Rick), Chris Woodard (Cindy) and David Woodard (Sonya); her close friends, Jeff Carlman (Corinne) and Nathan Culter; and her daughter Chelsea. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a GoFundMe to help with expenses.
