She was predeceased by: her father Eldon L. Nowell; and her sister Mabel Nowell Bishop. She is survived by: her spouse Coy E. Thomas; her brother Larry Nowell (Brenda); her nieces, Dr. Linda Hill, Brenda McCord and Sharon Thorpe (Edwin); her nephew Allen Thomas; and her grandchildren, Michael Thomas, Jamie Bunch, Leigh Anne Humphries, Cory Wiles, Nathan Evans, Trey McCord and Angela Franklin.
