With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maurice Alvin Thedford Jr. of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on April 1, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Alvin Thedford Sr. and Nina Lorraine Luttrell Thedford; and his grandson Benjamin Rucker. He is survived by: his wife Norma Elaine Twomey Thedford; his children, Mark Stephen Thedford (Helen), Kimberly Thedford Rucker, Kevin Thedford (Melinda) and Cecily Thedford (Cissy); and his sister Madeline Ruffner (Jim). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
