With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Thivierge (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Gladstone, Michigan, who passed away on June 20, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Arthur Thivierge; and her children, Justin, Julie, Ann and Neal. She was also cherished by her four children; her eight grandchildren; and her great grandsons.
Upon returning to the U.S in the early 2000s, Mary Lou and Art co-founded and spent eight years operating the Riversville Foundation college scholarship program for underserved youth.
