We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2019, at the age of 85, Mary Lee Bean (Chattanooga, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Huff and Mary Huff; and her sister Dot Luke (Donald M. Bean). She is survived by: her children, Lynne Doherty (Robert) and Alan Bean (Bonnie); her grandchildren, Colin and Erin Bean; and her siblings, Maggie Watson, Betty Smith, Barbara Henry, Glenda Akins, Jeanette Williams, Louise Jones and Bobby Huff. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 7625 Hamilton Park Dr # 6, Chattanooga, TN 37421 or the Kidney Foundation, 2300 E 3rd St suite b, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

“Lynne and Alan, your mom will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only was she my aunt but she would always make me a fruit pie at Christmas. So thankful that she gave me the recipe so many years ago. I'm sorry we have not keep in touch but know that you all are in my prayers. I love you all and know what you all are going through. Just knowing she is with her loving family and your dad/ her husband Uncle Donny now in heaven. Until we meet again Aunt Marylee, love ya Gayle Albers”
