She was predeceased by: her parents, Hamilton P. Tallent and Lexie Tallent; her husband Lawrence L Johnston; and her siblings, Glenn O. Tallent, Ray H. Tallent and Norma Jean Lee.

She is survived by: her son Larry Johnston (Cathy); her grandchildren, Kimberly Huskin Arp (Jason) and Larry Michael Johnston (Savannah); and her great grandchildren, Caleb Huskin and Madison Johnston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
