She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Henry and Banni Brandenburg; her siblings, Ruby Faultner, Shirley Hyden, Grace Grey and Charlie Brandenburg; and her husband Harold S. Hurt.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Hurt (Darlene) and Michael Hurt (Sara); her grandchildren, Angela Quarles, James Hurt and Lyndsay Hurt; and her siblings, Bliss Brandenburg, Jimmy Brandenburg, Sara Fishback and Jewel Campbell.
