She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Gillette and Ethel Gillette Coppenger; her sister Iona Gillette Ryan; and her husband Jack Gilbreath. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Mohney (Ralph) and Ken Gilbreath (Lora Beth); her grandchildren, Ellen Mohney Gray (Ryan) and Wes Mohney; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Carter and Maddox Gray; and her siblings, Alice Coppenger Driedric, Martha Coppenger Holt, David Gillette, Dianne Blevins and Terry Gillette.
