She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Houston and Jessie Beaumont; and her spouse Raynard Lay Foster. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Foster (Jennifer) of Birmingham, Adam Foster (Julie) of Atlanta, Caroline Foster and Raul Hidalgo of Chattanooga; her grandchildren, Mills, Hayes Foster of Birmingham, Ellie and Molly Foster of Atlanta; her siblings-in-law, Margaret Zucker of Sewanee and Norman Smith of Chattanooga; and her caregivers, Vickie, Ken Trapp, Nita, Don Kilpatrick, Marilyn Chapman, Randy and Deanie Carver.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services (7454 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Martin of Tours Episcopal Church (7547 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
In lieu of flowers, we ask that contributions be made in her memory to St Martin of Tours Episcopal Preschool.
