It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary E Brooks of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Athens, Alabama, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pressnell and Elsie Pressnell; her husbands, Earl Towe and Bill Brooks; her son Steven Towe; and her siblings, Margie Frye and John Pressnell.
She is survived by: her sons, Bob Towe (Norma) of Hixson, TN and Rick Towe (Karen Wheaton) of Hamilton, AL; and her stepchildren, Shirley Nichols, Debra Reeves, BJ Howell and Larry Brooks (Debbie). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
