It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Hamilton of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband George Lane Hamilton; her brother Dr. Richard Gibbs (Willana) of Grand Rapids, MN; and her children, Mary Ann Cancelleri (David) of Phoenix, AZ, Jane Elizabeth Arteaga (Marcelo) of Gainesville, GA, George Lane Hamilton, Jr. (Mary) of Marietta, GA and Benjamin Carter Hamilton (Erin) of Liberty Township, OH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
