Martha Sue Lawrence Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2022, at the age of 84, Martha Sue Lawrence (Chattanooga, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Glen Rice and Elizabeth Steele. She is survived by: her children, Robert M. Lawrence (Cathy), Susan Lawrence Brooks (Mike), Stephen T. Lawrence (Trina), Carol Lawrence Thornton (Allen) and Brooke Lawrence Montague (Langdon); her grandchildren, David Brooks (Lavens), Grace Brooks Ratchford (Kenny), Taylor Lawrence (Nicole), Graham Lawrence, Justin Thornton (Cassandra), Brooks Montague and Henry Montague; and her brother Brooks T. Rice (Marilyn). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ Church Episcopal in Chattanooga or a children's health/education charity of your choice.
