She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll F. Cumbee, Jr.; her parents, Robert Barden and Rubye Barden; and her sister Georgia Barden. She is survived by: her sons, Carroll F. Cumbee, III (Janet) and Robert W. Cumbee (Page); and her siblings, Robert Barden, Ann Hutchins and Betty Wheeler. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
