Margaret Meek Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Meek (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 21, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Shirley Meek (Jim); her parents, Henry Louis and Mary Josephine Wilson Schumacher; her sister Hilda Schumacher Carnes (Jim); and her son David.

She is survived by: her brother Louis Schumacher (Sherlene) of Franklin; her daughter Margaret (Tom) of Atlanta; her daughter-in-law Suzanne Mahoney of Chattanooga; her sons, James Jr. (Angela) of Highland Village, TX and John (Joy) of Chattanooga; her grandchildren, Holley Corder, Mitchell Meek, Amy Meek, Austin Meek and Jaclyn Meek; her great grandchildren, Thatcher and Reid Corder; her nephews, Al Carnes, Walter Carnes and Stephen Schumacher; and her niece Leslie Schumacher McKee.
