She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Dye; her parents, George Massengale and Ruby Massengale; and her daughter Joan Carol. She is survived by: her sons, Richie Dye (Lynn), Charlie Dye (Kay), Ronald Dye (Denise) and Cecil Dye; and her brothers, Johnny Massengale (Susie) and Charlie Massengale. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, six great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
