Mae Hampton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Hampton (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on April 5, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Taylor and Amanda Taylor; her sons, Ronald and Ernest Ray; and her siblings, Louise Clemons, Edna Taylor, William, Wesley, Henry Taylor and Charles Johnson.

She is survived by: her husband Melvin Hampton; her children, Mattie Jean Hudson (Gregory), Patricia Roberts (James), Vivian "Ann" Ware (William), Robert "Buster" Ray and Derrick Hampton; and her brother Robert Taylor of Texas. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and dear friends.
