With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lynelle Mason (Chattanooga, Tennessee), born in Waycross, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lynelle left this world on February 11, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Ward Sweat, Sr. and Cleo Jordan Sweat; her siblings, Quentin, Harold, John Ward, Jr., Herbert, Chandos, Kathryne and Darcile; and her son Max Alan Mason (Timothy Rodrigues).

She is survived by: her grandson Patrick Mason (Tina Mason); her great grandchild Ashton Mason; and her spouse Claude Thomas Mason.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga First Baptist Church (401 Gateway Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37402).
