Lynda A. Brooks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynda A. Brooks (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on January 5, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Brooks, Sr.; her parents, Billy McKinney and Mary Alice McKinney; her siblings, Billy Ray McKinney, Daniel McKinney, James McKinney, Ellen Johnson and Evelyn McKinney; and her great grandchild Hannah Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Dodd (Elizabeth), Mary Mullins (Jeff), Penny Satterfield (Chris) and Karen Heard (Bernard); her caregivers, Krystle, Ashley and Susan G; her granddaughter Ariele Benton; her close friends, Alexis Sloan and Debra Pettyjohn; and her pets, Barney and Bella. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Turner Funeral Home (3913 Webb Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37416). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
