She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie F. Witherow and Mabel Felker Witherow; her husband Richard Hobbs; and her daughters, Sylvia Walker and Darlene Faye Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Jackson Hammond (Thomas); her grandchildren, Darrell Miller, Daphne Miller, Melissa Miller, LaKeisha Baker, Gerald Thompson and Kendal Hammond; her niece Carlethia Watts; her nephew Wendal Hill; and her friend Robin Casey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the John P. Franklin Funeral Home (1101 Dodds Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
