She was predeceased by: her parents, A. J. Boswell and Ila Ruth Davis Boswell. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey P. Kenaston; her siblings, Alfred J. Boswell Jr. of Grifton, NC, Alice B. Carpenter of Tarboro, NC and Betty B. Cope of New Bern, NC.; and her close friends, Robbie Bateman, Mitchell Carnes, Saundra White, William Voelker and Bill Satterfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Nantahala Fire and Rescue.
