She was predeceased by: her husband Dillard Pyburn; her parents, Joetta Layne and Mel Layne; and her siblings, Ralph, Lofton, James, Frank Layne, Robbie Ferguson and Myrtle Pickett.
She is survived by: her daughter Patsy Vandergriff of Chattanooga; her grandchildren, Matthew Vandergriff, Rachel Bowers, Rebecca Newton (Jordan) and Sarah Swetmon (Dylan); and her great grandchildren, Brody Bowers, Maggie Bowers, Tabitha Swetmon and Brittain Swetmon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
