She was predeceased by: her husband John L. Penney; and her son Robert V. Wells (Bobby). She is survived by: her daughter Judy Wells Gass (Jim) of Apison; her grandchildren, Ted Wells (Michelle) of Chattanooga, Lisa Wells Taylor (Tommy) of Murphysboro, IL, Kathy Gass Allen (Frank) of Maitland, FL, Ron Gass (Missy) of Hixson and Jeanna Gass Brandt (Joe) of Fort Mill, SC; and her sister Norma Grindle of Chattanooga. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
